Brewery

The brewery consists of an 800 litre brewhouse imported from Diversified Mechanical Engineering in Canada in 2006. From the viewing windows at the brewery entrance visitors can see the whole brewing process. The Mash Tun and kettle are at the front along with the hot liquor tank. Further back in the brewery are two 1600 litres fermenters along with another two 800 litre fermenters. The conditioning/serving tanks are located in the cool room. Jeremy currently brews six beers including the Cowaramup Pilsener, Hefeweizen, Lightsign Summer Ale, Special Pale Ale, India Pale Ale and Cowaramup Chocolate Porter.

BEERS

Pale gold in colour, dense white head, German noble hop aroma with a hint of graininess, moderately bitter with a clean crisp refreshing finish.

Malt: Australian Pale Malt

Hops: Perle, Tettenang

ABV: 5% IBU’s: 35

Bavarian style unfiltered wheat beer. Light gold in colour, off-white head, fruity banana aroma. Refreshing with a slightly tart finish.

Gold in colour, fruity aroma, medium body with low to moderate bitterness and a slight spicy finish.

REGGIE MANDARINA

Pale gold in colour, a malt driven beer that balances a pleasant malt sweetness and body with floral noble hops and restrained bitterness with a decent aroma of tangerine/citrus.

Hops: Perle, Mandarina Bavarian

ABV: 4.9% IBU’s: 25

Copper in colour, brewed with generous amounts of Maris Otter barley and Goldings hops. A moderately bitter, strong pale ale.

Malt: Maris Otter, Caramunich Type 3, Roasted Barley

Hops: First Gold, Admiral, Challenger, Fuggle

ABV: 5.4% IBU’s: 38

Copper in colour, brewed with Australian ale malt, dry hopped with Bramling Cross. A moderately bitter strong pale ale.
